CKU CLASSES
◆ Puppy young:
4-6 months (4 months at the date of the show, but less than 6 months)
◆ Puppy older:
6-9 months (6 months at the date of the show, but less than 9 months)
◆ Junior: 9-18
months (9 months at the date of the show, but less than 18 months)
◆ Medium:
15-24 months (15 months at the date of the show, but less than 24 months)
◆ Open: Up to
15 months (15 months at the date of the show and above)
Notice
It can be chosen among three classes
(Junior, Medium and Open) if the dogs are between 15 and 18 months. The owner
can choose the appropriate class based on the knowledge about his/her dog. The
entry information cannot be changed when entry ends. The dogs up to 9 months
are eligible for CC.

ENTRY PROCEDURE
For CKU members:
Go to the
Union
or log on www.aigou.com to fill in the entry form.
Please send the entry fee to the
Union on due time yourself or through postal order.
For non-CKU members:
Fill in the membership registration form
and entry form.
Send them with a copy of pedigree
certificate, your ID card, two 1-inch photos, membership fee and entry fee to
the union.
The entry fee can be valid after the
confirmation of the membership registration form and the pedigree certificate.
The
Union will inform the member to take the membership
card. CKU members can particiapate in all CKU shows.
For entry dog without pedigree certificate,
it is needed to fill in purebred registration form and provide with two 5-inch
photos of the dog(face and side). The CKU purebred identification form will be
send after the receipt and confirmation. The identification and microchip
injection will be carried on during the show day. (Non purebred dog could leave
the ring.)
P.S. People who just acquire membership and
not exhibit shall fill in the membership registration form and send it with the
copy of his/her ID card, 1-inch photos and fee to the
Union.
HOTELS
Please draw“√” at the column of "The exhibitors need the hotel service.” and
"The show dogs need lodge service." if you need. Please send the
postal order to the
Union on due time
according to the postmark. If not, it will be regarded as waiver.
IDENTIFICATION
Please draw“√” at the column of "Apply for purebred identification" if
you need. The
Union will arrange the time for
microchip injection on the show day. (Microchip: RMB 120 per one. Certificate
production: RMB 60)
P.S. Any form of the entry on the show day
is unaccepted. The member can inform the
Union
before the entry deadline if he/she cannot enter for some certain reason or
needs to defer the payment.
SHOW PROCEDURE
CKU take FCI system.
Notice
The exhibitors should follow the local
public security law and regulation.
The exhibitors should have necessary immune
certificate required by national government and accept checkup.
The exhibitors should wear suits.
Sportswear and casual wear are not allowed.
The exhibitors should bring the original
"Certificate Pedigree" or "Identification Certificate".
The microchips of the show dogs need to be
scanned. The show dogs without microchips shall be injected on the show day.
The decision of judge is irrefutable.
Un-entered dogs and non-member's dogs are
not allowed to enter the ring.
The owner should bring the dog to the show
veterinarian if the dog gets sick during the show.
The exhibitors should keep the venue clean
and clean up your dog's increment in time.
The exhibitors should take care of their
dogs, avoiding any offensive behavior.
The exhibitors are not allowed to send
flyers without permission of the show committee.
PAYMENT
Entry fee RMB 300 per dog before April 1,
2008(according to the postmark).
Entry fee RMB 600 per dog on April 2-3,
2008(according to the postmark).
P.S. The payment must be sent to the
Union before the deadline (according to the postmark).
The written application for leave should be sent to the
Union
before the deadline under certain circumstance. After the confirmation, the
organizing committee shall refund the fee.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PLACINGS
EXCELLENT may only be awarded to a dog
which comes very close to the ideal standard of the breed, which is presented
in excellent condition, displays a harmonious, well-balanced temperament, is of
high class and has excellent posture. Its superior characteristics in respect
of its breed permit that minor imperfections can be ignored; it must however
have the typical features of its sex.
VERY GOOD may only be awarded to a dog
which possesses the typical features of its breed, which has well-balanced
proportions and is in correct condition. A few minor faults may be tolerated
but none of a morphological nature. This award can only be granted to a dog
that shows class.
GOOD is to be awarded to a dog that
possesses the main features of its breed however showing faults provided these
are not concealed.
SUFFICIENT must be awarded to a dog which
corresponds adequately to its breed, without possessing the generally accepted
characteristics or whose physical condition leaves something to be desired.
DISQUALIFIED must be awarded to a dog which
does not correspond to the type required by the breed standard; which shows a
behaviour clearly not in line with its standard or which behaves aggressively;
which has testicular abnormalities; which has dental flaw or a jaw anomaly;
which shows a colour and/or coat imperfection or clearly shows signs of
albinism. This qualification shall also be awarded to dogs that correspond so
little to a single feature of the breed that their health is threatened. It
should furthermore be awarded to dogs that show eliminating faults in regard to
the breed standard.
Dogs that cannot be awarded one of the
above qualifications shall be released from the ring with the rating :
CANNOT BE JUDGED. This rating is to be
given to any dog which does not move, constantly jumps up and down on its
handler or tries to get out of the ring, makes it impossible to assess the gait
and the movement or avoids constantly to be examined by the judge and makes it
impossible to inspect teeth, anatomy and structure, tail or testicles. This rating
is also to be given if traces of operations or treatment can be observed which
seem to indicate that the exhibitor wanted to deceive the judge.
AWARDS
For Breeds
Best of Breed (BOB) will be awarded ribbon.
Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) will be awarded
certificate of merit.
For Groups
Dogs are placed 1
-4 in BIG (Best in Group) will be awarded cup.
BIS
Dogs are placed 1
-4 in BIG (Best in Group) will be awarded cup and
flowers.
For the awards in puppy classes, please
make reference to above.
CAC
CC is only issued in championship shows
recognized by CKU.
Only competing dogs above 9 months are
eligible for CC.
CC is only awarded to WD and WB in single
breed competitions with excellent qualification from the show judge.
If there is only one dog (bitch) in a
breed, the dog (bitch) naturally gets the title of WD or WB. If the dog (bitch)
is awarded excellent, it can be awarded CC.
If the judge of the show considers all the
dogs that present at the show without sufficient feature of their breed, he has
the right to refuse awarding the dogs and candidates CC.
In the show, if the judge thinks the second
place dog has sufficient breed features, this dog may be awarded candidate
status.
The judge awards CC to the competing dogs
which he considers with sufficient breed features and the strength of winning
the championship by his/her own judgment.
The competing dogs with championship
certificate issued by CKU recognized organizations must take part in the BOB
competing, BOB can be awarded CC.
The senior officials of headquarter and the
judge must sign on CC certificate and put down notes of the situation of the
dog's winning titles.
CH.CN
Dogs must obtained at least 3 CAC under 2
different judges in CAC or CACIB shows for the title of CH.CN.
The owners need to send application to CKU
with CAC certificate, pedigree certificate or identification certificate. The
related fee should be paid.
Championship Certificate
Dogs get 3 CCs under 2 different judges can
apply for Championship Certificate.
Bronze Championship Certificate
Dogs get 6 CCs can apply for Bronze
Championship Certificate.
Silver Championship Certificate
Dogs get 12 CCs can apply for Silver
Championship Certificate.
Gold Championship Certificate
Dogs get 20 CCs can apply for Gold
Championship Certificate.
Super Championship Certificate
Dogs get 20 CCs and 2 BISs under 3
different judges in CAC/CACIB show can apply for Super Championship
Certificate. |
